The playground is split into two distinct areas and includes a shade shelter, with most of the space pleasantly covered by surrounding trees (except during winter when the trees are bare—though shade is hardly a priority then unless you’re a mole, badger, or water rat).
The section designed for older children features a large play structure with dual wave slides, several climbing ladders, a fireman’s pole, a small cubby seat, an inclined walkway, a mini flying fox, and monkey bars. Nearby, there is also a birds nest swing, four regular swings, horizontal bars, a spinning carousel, a solid rock-style climbing bridge, and scattered logs and rocks for additional play.
Off to one side is the younger kids’ area, which is protected by a shade sail. It includes a multi-level wooden play structure with a curved slide, sloped ramp, tunnel, rope bridge, and monkey bars. Adjacent features include a tic-tac-toe panel, sound pipes, a shopfront with a play calculator, a curved timber bridge, and a bright yellow duck rider.
The site also provides a shaded picnic table along with some open seating, a drinking water tap, and is situated beside an oval. On the opposite side of the oval, near the pavilion, there are public toilet facilities.
